Call of Duty Black Ops Annihilation
Call of Duty Black Ops Annihilation is a new addition for the popular game. It is a downloadable map pack for players who already own Call of Duty Black Ops.
Accordingt to the Call Of Duty official website it will be available on Xbox first on the 28th June 2011.
What can you expect from Call of Duty Black Ops Annihilation?
There will be 4 new mulitiplayer maps and one Zombie map.
I’ll introduce the multiplayer maps for this latest addition to Call of Duty Black Ops first:
“Hangar 18″
Hangar 18 is located inside a secret military base of “Area 51″. The action will lead you through through experimental weapons labs, the so called “SR-71″ experimental hangar, and a mysterious autopsy room.
“Drive-In”
Drive-In resembles a typical 1960s drive-in movie theatre. Expect fast and furious close-up battles. I expect it to be a bit like the fast paced “Nuke Town”, a Call of Duty Black Ops favorite! You will find a typical 1960′ snack shack and a classic arcade.
“Silo”
486x60 flightsim1 Call of Duty Black Ops Annihilation
Silo resembles a a massive secret Soviet nuclear missile site under construction. The Call of Duty Black Ops makers describe as a multilevel battleground. Might be one for the snipers amongst you?
“Hazard”
Hazard features coastal golf course, on the cliff sides of Cuba. You will find close quarter clubhouses as well as manicured fairways and sandy bunkers – a perfect hiding place for snipers!
For the Zombie fans amongst you Call of Duty Black Ops fans (I can’t really warm up to the decaying monsters), there is something special in store as well:
“Shangri-La”
Shangri-La a features a long lost shrine located in an exotic jungle. New Zombie species hide within a treacherous labyrinth of underground caves. Beware of dangerous traps and solve the mysteries buried deep within the moving walls of this mysterious and “undead” infested location.
It all sounds like a lot of fun and is a must have addition to Call of Duty Black Ops for those who are bored with the same old action in the same old locations. It will keep you busy while you are waiting for MW3!
Still, while new map packs are always exiting, I wish The makers of Call of Duty Black Ops would look after their PS3 fans more. The Black Ops multiplayer experience on PS3 is still far from ideal with constant lags, host migrations and lost connections. Call of Duty Black Ops Annihilation is promised on Xbox 360 for June 28, with the PC and PS3 versions till labled “Coming Soon”…

Definition of Noob, Nube, N00b, Newb – What does it mean?
Call of Duty noob nube.com Definition of Noob, Nube, N00b, Newb What does it mean?
Call of Duty - noob-nube.com
So someone called you a noob!
You might have been called a noob during online game playing. What does that mean? Is it an insult? And what can you do to about it?
There a are several variations of the word: noob, newb, nube, n00b (with two zeros) are the main variations. What’s the correct spelling?
Definition of Newb, Noob, Nube and N00b
Let’s first look at the Oxford Dictionary – the number one autority on the English language.
The only officially correct spelling is “noob” none of the other variations are included (yet).
noob
Pronunciation:/nu:b/
noun
informal
a person who is inexperienced in a particular sphere or activity, especially computing or the use of the Internet.
Origin:
early 21st century: from newbie
So there we have the official version. Unfortunately that’s not the whole story. Language is a living and constantly emerging thing, and the Oxford Dictionary is a stuffy old book, sometimes slow to catch up with the real world.
In the online gaming world, especially in games such as Call of Duty, or Halo the word noob is used a lot. Different variations of the word mean quite different things.
Contemporary Definition of Newb, Noob, Nube and N00b
Newb: Someone is new to gaming and is very inexperienced and has a low skill level. A newb is typically eager to learn and will listen to advice from more experienced players. He will learn and become better with practice.
Noob: Someone who is new to the task, but may have been playing the game for a while. He will not listen to advice, does not have the mental capacity or the interest to learn anything new and is stuck at a low level of skill. Often he is overconfident and annoying to other online players. He lacks any sense of team spirit and will spoil the game for other players. Some say, noobs often type in ALL CAPS and brag about their (unfortunately non-existant) expertise.
Nube: Another variation of noob. Generally has the same meaning.
N00b: This variation is spelled with 2 zeros for a reason. It shows how little other players think of this lowest form of noob.
486x60 flightsim1 Definition of Noob, Nube, N00b, Newb What does it mean?
If you have been called a noob, nube or n00b – yes you have been insulted! If you have been called a newb, no you have not been insulted.
If the person who insulted you was a n00b himself – no you have not been insulted. N00bs have the annoying habit of calling other players noobs and should just be ignored.

The rest of this site is for newbs who enjoy playing the game and are willing to learn and progress.
There’s lots of interesting information, articles, questions and answers and great videos. The site is still being expanded, so bookmark us and come back often.
